Oval Space Music // Ripperton x DJ Sprinkles x Ian Pooley x Radio Slave

Sorry, this event has already ended.

Deep house / ambient innovator, experimental multi-media producer, DJ and founder of Comatonse Recordings, Japan-based DJ Sprinkles will be returning to London for a rare appearance. Pansexual and transgender, Thaemlitz uses her work to explore themes of sexuality, gender politics, identity crises and ethnicity. Her debut full length album Midtown 180 Blues is widely regarded as a seminal dance LP and was awarded the prestigious accolade of Best Album of 2009 by Resident Advisor.

Joining her will be Berlin-based Radio Slave aka Matthew Edwards, who has been releasing quality house and techno as a solo artist under monikers such as Quiet Village, Sea Devils, REKID. Edwards' EPs, mixes and singles have appeared on esteemed labels including; Ostgut Ton, R&S and his own label, Rekids. Earlier this year he was selected to mix the 23rd instalment of the highly respected Balance series.

Considered one of Switzerland's most creative electronic exports, Raphael Ripperton has consistently released high-quality records, both as one half of Lazy Fat People with Mirko Loko (Border Community), and through his own label Perspectiv Records which he founded in 2006.

Rounding up the bill is Berlin based house stalwart Ian Pooley. With a music career that spans three decades, Pooley has released over 400 singles and remixes and seven albums. Influenced by time spent in Berlin, Chicago, Detroit and Rio, his sound is dark and hypnotic with a signature infectious groove.

The very talented Buff Diss will be joining us from Berlin, creating live tape art installations throughout the night.

This event will remain at a fixed price of £17.50. No 'early bird' tickets, no '1st release', no '4th release', just one fixed ticket price to remain fair to all music lovers :)
